Brisbane City Botanic Garden

It was lovely weather, so I decided to do photo shooting.

I just started to walk in the botanic garden...
I found interesting piece of wood...

I could not see it, so I walked closer.

EKKA

 EKKA

It was nice day for going to to EKKA.
People said to me, 'Should not go to EKKA on EKKA holiday.', 'It will be crowded.'... However it was only day I could go, so I decided to go on EKKA holiday.

At the EKKA, I had lot of things to see and experience.

It was very warm around this exhibition, because lot of fires to heat up horseshoe.

It was lovely day to go to EKKA...

How crowded was it??
Not really. I expected waiting line everywhere, but there was no waiting line. Even at show bags area. Bit of cue, but smooth. Almost non stop to go in.

If I were here next year, I will go again.

Walkabout Creek.

Little zoo in Brisbane...

First of all, to my friend...
Thanks for taking me to the zoo with me.

Lots of forest around there and see many Australian animals... Also hear about Australian natural forest and creatures. It was really nice to listen someone talk about those...

This is the one of the snake which I could take well.
Bit scary... but interesting to see for some people...














We had rest at cafe area... One bird was came near by.

It was lovely to visit there.
Actually, now I am living near by this zoo and forest... so if I want to, I can go anytime. Just go for a walk...

One day, I decided to go for a walk...
I was walking around the West End.
 I just saw a car which was interesting. Very different...

I watched on TV about this festival and look up on the internet.
It looked really nice festival, so I decided to go...

It was many people. However lots of things to see. Some were interesting.

Japanese meals

The other night my homestay mother took me Japanese restaurant to meet her friends.

Yuzu (citrus) cheese cake

Every meals are so tasty.
I had a glass of Umeshu (Plum sake).
I also had Sashimi. It was really good quality. I reckon since I came here, I had first time such a tasty Sashimi in Australia.

It reminds me my Japanese life. It was like I am in Japan.

Most of the plates or cutlery are Japanese style..

Taste is almost same things I had in Japan. I know why... because everyone work in this restaurant are Japanese.

Taste was real Japanese food.

I wish I could go back again...

Cooking time!!

Spaghetti meat sauce

The other day, I was thinking to make something for spaghetti.
I decided to make meat sauce which I can use other meals.

Meat sauce spaghetti

Meat Sauce

Ingredients

Minced beef about 400g
1 Carrot
1 Onion
2 piece of Celery with leaves
1 tin of Tomato
Few tomato sauce (As you like)
Salt, pepper and olive oil


Recipe

1. Cut carrot, onion and celery into tiny dice.
2. Stir fry the onion in the pan until turn to golden brown. Adding bit of salt, pepper and olive oil.
3. Put mince in the pan and stir fry until most of the meat turn to brown.
4. Then put carrot and celery into the pan and stir fry.
5. When all the vegetables are getting soft, pour tin of tomato and stir.
6. Add salt, pepper and tomato sauce to adjust the taste.
7. Stir until soup has gone to half the amount.

If you have red wine, add 1 cup makes more deeper taste.

Lovely Weather

It was a nice weather to strolling around.

I was at market at riverside. However it was smaller than I expected. Also one market was not there. (Supposed to two markets...)

Anyway I decided to walk along the river....

After walked into the city, I took a bus to West End.
I was wondering around there, I heard music. It was from cafe...
It was called 'Music Kafe'.
It was late lunch, but there was still breakfast menu.
I ordered it.

First band was lovely. I wish I could listen more.
Second was bad...

I reckon if you are lucky you can listen good one in free charge.

Just buy food or drinks.

Everyday has different special offer. And night time has Happy hours.
If I have a time I would like to go there again.

It was a very nice weather for photography.
I walked around lots of places.

First I went to Stones Corner.

This was near the busway station. It was huge graffiti art.

I was heard there are lots of shops and some are cheap or outlet. However there were not many shops... Most of them were closed down. It was really quiet.

After I went to Roma Street Parkland.
It was lovely weather, so I decided to have little picnic at botanical garden.
