トゥオンバ　フラワー　カーニバル

It was lovely weather to visit Toowoomba with my friend.
There was a carnival for flower.
Before visiting carnival I caught up my friend who lives Towoomba. It was just before I came back to Japan and we hadn't seen each other for long time, so it was nice to see.
After say good by with her, we went to the carnival. Few places had many gorgeous flowers.
今日は、天気も良く、友達とトゥオンバにお出掛け。
フラワーカーニバルが行われていた。
カーニバルの前に、 トゥオンバに住んでいる友達と久しぶりに再会。私が帰国前だった事もあり、なおさら会えてよかった。 
トゥオンバの友達と別れてからカーニバルへ。カーニバルはあちらこちらで行われ、沢山の綺麗な花が咲いていた。

I lived Australia over 6 years this time, I had never been to island.
First time I went to island.
Bribie Island is located an hour away (driving) from Brisbane.
Little bit cold, but the weather was nice. Blue sky.
今回6年以上オーストラリアに住んでいた。でも、1度も島に行った事がなかった。
初めて島に遊びに行った。
ブライビー島は、ブリスベンから車で1時間位の所にある。
少し寒かったけど、天気も良く青空だった。





Some people were fishing. I needed to careful to walk, because fishing lines were toward to ocean and I could not see well if I walk and see the ground or ocean...
何人かの人は魚釣りをしていた。気を付けて歩かないといけない。と言うのも、釣り糸は海の方に投げられているから...でも、海見ながら歩いているし、糸はクリアだから、じっくり見ないと気が付かない。

I wondered who was living... I guess crab??

What is this? There were so many. Looks like crescent moon jelly.
海の忘れ物。
なんだろうね?海岸には、沢山転がっていた。三日月ゼリーみたいだね。

Australia Day!!

Australia Day
オーストラリア・デー

It was Australia Day.
There were some festival around Brisbane.
I went two with my friend. One was in Redcliffe and the other was in South Bank.
オーストラリア・デーという事もあり、ブリスベンやその近郊の地域で色々フェスティバルが行われていた。
友達と一緒に、レッドクリフとサウスバンクのイベントに行ってきた。

At Redcliffe, there is a shipwreck site.
I went there before, but I found new thing.
It was very low tide day, so the water was not cover any on the ships.
Yes, ships. I thought there was one ship sank at the shore, but it was not. There were four of them.
レッドクリフには座礁船を見る事が出来る所がある。
前にも来た事があるけど、今回新たな発見をした。
この日は結構潮が引いていた事もあって、座礁船が良く見る事が出来た。 
1隻…だと思っていた物が、実は4隻もある事が今回行って分かった。

The ship was dead, but it is not really dead. Something was growing and alive...
There was little flower ground on the ship. Ship was still smiling with little lives on the ship.
船は船としての役目をはたしてしまったけど、本当はまだ生きているのかも。というのも、小さな命が生きているのを見る事が出来た。
船の上に小さなお花畑が。船が、その小さな命と一緒に、まだ微笑み掛けているようだった。


Walking around the festival area.
I thought the festival is much more bigger, but it was not bigger as I expected. Even there was fireworks at night... (We could not wait for another few hours.)
I found something on the ground. It was art activity and people were drawing something on the ground. Many people were having fun in Australia day. Lots of positive energy from the art.
フェスティバルの所を歩いて回った。
フェスティバルは大きい物かと思っていたけど、想像と違って小さな規模な物だった。花火が行われることになっていたけど、数時間それまで待つ事も出来なかった。
フェスティバルで、アート体験コーナーがあってみんなは色々地面に絵や言葉など色々と書いていた。みんなはオーストラリア・デーを楽しんでいるのがその絵から伝わってきた。 

 



















After we left Redcliffe, we went to see fireworks in South Bank.
We watched from Kangaroo Point.
It was very beautiful with scenery with Brisbane CBD and South Bank.
I took some photos and video. These photos were quite good one from my photos I took on camera.

レッドクリフを後にして、ブリスベンに戻りサウスバンクの花火を楽しむ。
サウスバンクはすごい人と車が止めれないであろうという事で、カンガルーポイントから望む事に。
ブリスベン市街地とサウスバンクをバックに、綺麗な花火を見る事が出来た。
1眼レフと携帯のカメラで写真やビデオを撮った。その中でも綺麗に撮れている2枚を更新。  

I could spend very nice time on Australia Day.
I saw and learn how the people in Australia spend a time on Australia Day.
It was nice experinece.
Thank you for the day I had...
オーストラリア・デーがいい日になった。
オーストラリアの人達が、どのような日を過ごすのか見て、学ぶことが出来たし、花火も見れて良かった。
今日という日が楽しく過ごせた事に感謝。

Gold Coast Hinterland
ゴールドコースト　ヒンターランド

It was a lovely day to go out to forest with friend.
Day before was rainy day, so there were some pretty waterfalls around.
天気も良く、森林浴をするには最適の日。
前日に雨も降ったこともあってか、いくつかの滝を見る事が出来た。


We walked around The Canyon Springbrook area, from Canyon Lookout to the forest.
Few places was little bit wet to walk, due to rain day before. It was fun to walk in the forest.
キャニオン　スプリングブルーク　エリアをキャニオン展望台から、森の中へ歩いて行く。
途中、前日に雨も降った事もあり所々地面が濡れていた。森歩きは楽しかった。

We also walked around National Bridge.
There is a cave which famous for grow warm and waterfall.
Unfortunately it was before the sunset, so we could not see grow warm. However it was nice to see the waterfall.
The sunlight was came through the hall of waterfall. It was beautifully hit on the waterfall.
ナショナル　ブリッジの散策。
そこは、洞窟があって、グローワームと滝で有名な所。
この日は、日没前という事もあって、グローワームは見る事が出来なかったけど、綺麗な滝は見る事が出来た。
滝が降り注ぐ穴から、日の光が入り、その光が滝に当たりちょっと神秘的だった。

Queens park, Ipswich

Christmas Lunch with friends and their relatives.
友達とその親戚とのクリスマスランチ。

My friend invited me for the lunch and she took me to Queens park in Ipswich.
The weather was lovely. Nice day for picnic and walk around the park.
I am so grateful to have a lovely people surrounding me. 
友達がクリスマスランチに誘ってくれて、一緒にイプスイッチにあるクイーンズパークに行ってきた。
お天気も良く、ピクニック日和。歩くのにも良い日。 
いい人達にで会えている事への感謝... 

Queens park is a really nice place. This time we did not go to the little zoo, but instead walked up the little hill and stood on the lookout.
View from the lookout was very good. Nice to see the view of Ipswich central and toward the hinterland. There were so many trees and I saw some mountain range.
I felt nature power and how big Australia is...
クイーンズパークはいつ来てもいい所。今回はミニ動物園には行かず、丘を上がって展望台から景色を眺めた。
展望台からの眺めは最高。イプスイッチ市街地や内陸部が望む事が出来た。内陸部は、森に囲まれ、山も見られた。
自然の力を感じた日。そして、オーストラリアはやっぱり大きいんだなぁと実感した。

My city, new and old.

Today I went around my city with my mum and dad.
The weather was cloudy and sometime rain.
It is still rainy season and not too hot or humid. I haven't seen sunny and summer weather actually. Where is blue sky?
今日はお母さんとお父さんと一緒に街中を歩いた。
天気は曇り時々雨。
雨季だけど、全然暑くもじめじめともしていない。それもあるけど、こっちに来てから晴れになっていない。青空はどこへ??


First, we went planetarium.
When I left Japan last time, the planetarium was just renovated. Now world biggest planetarium.
I am proud of I am from Nagoya.
最初に行った所はプラネタリウム。
オーストラリアに行った頃にプラネタリウムは新しくなった。今では世界一大きなプラネタリウム。
名古屋出身っていい感じ。
















Huge ball was connecting with two buildings.
One side looks nice with green.
大きなボールが2つの建物に挟まれている。
片方はいい感じの緑に包まれていた。

I remembered when I was little, it was big, but now very small, but it is shown gorgeous view.
プラネタリウムのプロジェクター。
小さい頃は大きかったのを覚えているけど、今は小さくても高性能。


After we left planetarium, we went to Nagoya castle.
New place was opened since I went to Australia.
プラネタリウムを後にして、次に行ったのは名古屋城。
オーストラリアに行ってから、新しい建物が公開された。

Before entre the castle, there is a prefecture gymnastic hall.
In few days, Sumo will hold in the hall.
It has started preparing the tournament.
お城の手前には県の体育館がある。
あと数日後には、お相撲が始まる。
ちょうど相撲の準備が始まったところ。

This gate (Omote-Ninomon) is Important cultural asset.
お城への入り口。
この門（表二之門）は重要文化財。

Before the castle, there is a palace.
This is called Honmaru Goten (Honmaru palace).
It is ongoing reconstruction. Now open stage one. Two more stages which will finish 2018.
お城の前には御殿がある。
この御殿は本丸御殿といい、今は第1次復元工事が終わったところ。あと2次あって、2018年には全て完成予定。





















When we were walking in front of the palace, lucky thing happened.
Normally, side door of the palace is closed. However suddenly opened from inside.We do not know why, but it was short time. 
御殿の外を歩いていると、いい事が起こった。
普段は横の戸は閉まっているのだが、突然中から戸が開いた。なぜか分からないけど、数分の出来事だった。





















All the room have gold wall and fusuma (door).
It was so gorgeous.
This room is for higher person to use.
全ての部屋に金の壁や襖。
とても綺麗だった。
この部屋は偉い人が使う部屋。


After we left Honmaru Goten, we went to castle and walked up to the top

Gold Coast day trip.

Day trip with friend.
友達との日帰り旅。


This weekend was Easter holiday, so most of the people had long weekend.
My friend and I were planning trips, but it was bit late to planned, so not much accommodations were available. In stead doing stay somewhere, we just decided to day trip.
It was cloudy and seemed starting rain when I left house, but when we arrived Gold Coast, the weather was turning into lovely.
この週末はイースターホリデーで殆どの人は連休。
友達と私は泊りでの旅行をと考えたけど、遅かったからホテルの予約取れなかった。 と言う事で、今回は日帰りでの旅行。
家を出る時は今にも雨が降りそうな天気だったけど、ゴールドコーストに着いたら、とても良い天気になった。(予報では豪雨だったけど、雨は1粒も降らず)




















Today's beach condition.
I always check this when I at beach, not only the reason to know the condition of the beach. I like to see the picture that lifeguard drew. Often something is drawn. This time was condition of under the water.
今日の海の状況。
いつも海に来るとこれを見るようにしている。海の状況を知るだけの理由で見るのではなく、ライフガードが書いている絵を見るのが楽しみ。だいたい必ずと言っていいほど、絵が書いてある。今回は海底の状況についてだった。

天気も良くて良い景色が見られた。
運よくカモメが飛んできて、写真に写った。 















Almost time to finish working for lifeguard...
I captured lifeguard was walking on the beach. Can you see him with the yellow and red flag?
ライフガードの仕事の終わりの時間。
ライフガードが黄色と赤の旗を集めているのをとらえる事が出来た。ライフガードを見つけれるかな? 

It was very relaxing time at beach. I could meditate with sound of nature. We saw street performers show. It was a festival for street performers. That is why we saw a lot of them. In stead of going to national park we spend time with watching them.
Next time definitely go to national park and stay few nights.
When we left the Gold Coast, we took a bus to the station. Guess what we took. Two stories bus. I was surprised. I have not seen before in Gold Coast. we were lucky to take it. I do not think there are many bus. I took photo, but it was not good quality to put in this blog unfortunately.
Anyway, thank you for that time I could spend today...
とてもリラックスした時間が海で過ごす事が出来た。自然の音を聞きながら瞑想したり、ストリートパフォーマーのショーを見たりした。この日は、ストリートパフォーマーのフェスティバルと言う事もあって、いたる所でショーが行われていた。パフォーマンスを観ていたら、国立公園に行く時間がなくなってしまった。
今度行く時は絶対泊りで行って、国立公園にも立ち寄りたいなぁ。
私たちがゴールドコーストを離れる時に駅に行くバスを待っていたら、なんと2階建てバスが来た。今まで、ゴールドコーストに何度も行っているけど、見た事がない。始めて乗る事とが出来た。多分、そんなに沢山2階建てバスは走っていないと思う。
写真撮ったけど、あまりブログに載せられるような状態でないので残念ながら写真は却下…
今日の様な日が過ごせた事に感謝…
  

Little adventure

Day trip with my friend.
友達とお出掛け。

It was gorgeous weather for day out.
Today we went to Scarborough to Redcliffe.
It took about 1 hour 45 minutes from city to Scarborough by train and bus.
At first we went popular little seafood market and takeaway shop in Scarborough. We bought prawns and fisherman's basket to share. We had lunch at Scarborough boat harbour.
After the lunch, our little adventure was started.
お出掛けするのにはとてもいい日だった。
今日はスカーボローからレッドクリフに向けての旅。
ブリスベン市街地からスカーボローまでは、バスと電車で約1時間45分。
まず最初は、有名な小さな魚売り場とお持ち帰りの食べ物の店が一緒になった所に行って来た。茹でて冷やしてあるえびとフィッシャーマンバスケット(白身魚、ホタテ、えび、イカリングのフライとフライドポテトのセット)と買った。マーケットの外はスカーボローの漁港で、ベンチとテーブルがあって、そこで分け合いながらお昼ごはんを食べた。
お昼ごはん食べてから、レッドクリフに向けての旅が始まった。

After walked along the footpath, there were two ways. Keep continue to footpath which above the cliff or shore.
We were not sure we can walk along on the shore, but we just went to see we can walk or not. Luckily it was low tide, so we decided walk along the shore and it was good choice.
It was little adventure actually, because some broken cliffs and rocks on the way.
海岸沿いの歩道をしばらく歩くと分かれ道。崖の上を行く歩道と海岸を歩く道。
どっちに行くか迷いつつ、海岸をとりあえず見に行く事に。歩けるかなかるけないかな…
運が良く、この日は潮が引いていた。だからこのまま海岸を歩く事に。
小さなアドベンチャーの始まり。と言うのも、海岸には崖が崩れた物や岩がゴロゴロしていたから。

満潮になると、海水は崖の所まで来るんだと思う。 


After we walked along the shore, finally we arrived Redcliffe jetty.
It was long walk. Probably 5km with thongs.
海岸沿いを歩いて、ようやくレッドクリフの桟橋に到着。
長い距離を歩いた。多分5km位かな。しかも草履をはいてでの…

Interesting monument. Rings are moving around.
旅の終わり。ちょうどレッドクリフを離れる時。

面白い物を見つけた。輪が動いていてなんか不思議だった。


It was lovely day.
We had nice food, saw lots of things, friend was swimming and I was meditating at the beach, took many photos.
とてもいい日になった。
美味しい物を食べて、色々見たり、友達は泳いでいる間私は海岸でメディテーションしたり、写真沢山撮ったりと…

Walk along the rider...

Noodle festival.
麺の市。

There was a noodle festival at South Bank. It was only night time...
I went there have a look on another day. (Not eat anything.)
サウスバンクで麺の市が夜のみ開かれていた。
違う日に見に行った。 （何も食べなかった。）

Walk along the river I found a Torii...
There is no shrine. It was bit awkward, but interesting to see it. I won't see it again, unless there is noodle festival again there...
川沿いを歩いていると鳥居が…
神社はないから、ちょっと不思議な感じが。でも、普段は見れないから良い経験だったかも。まぁ、また麺の市が開かればあるかも…

My friend invited me a Christmas lunch with her family and relatives.
It was lovely weather at dam.
友達が家族や親戚のクリスマスランチに招待してくれた。
天気もとても良かった。 

















When we were having a lunch, there was a guest.
Wild Kookaburra. It did not sing, but it was beautiful bird.

Walking day.

Great day for walking.
歩くには良い日だね。


I needed to go Brisbane convention centre, but before that I decided to walk along the river, because the weather made me walk.
I started from South Bank bus station, walk through the market, then walked along the river. My plan had changed. I walked to West End market via riverside, through the market and little rest at the park for having a lunch and finally arrived at Brisbane convention centre.

この日はブリスベンのコンベンションセンターに用事があったけど、その前に川沿いを歩く事に。
サウスバンクのバスステーションからマーケットを通って、 川沿いを歩いた。その間に計画を変更。最初の予定ではその足でコンベンションセンターにと思っていたけど、あまりにも天気が良く歩くには最適な日だったので、そのまま川沿いを歩いてウエストエンドへ。ウエストエンドではファーマーズマーケットがやっていて、そこを通りぬけて公園を見つけたので休憩を兼ねてお昼ごはん。食べた後は、コンベンションセンターへ…

It was lovely day to walk out.
I had never walked this way, so found things.
I hope find something new next walking too.

今日は歩くにはとてもいい日だった。
いつもと違う道を歩いてみるのも色々な発見があって良いね。
今度のウォーキングも新しい発見があると良いなぁ。
