It was a lovely day to go out to forest with friend.
Day before was rainy day, so there were some pretty waterfalls around.
天気も良く、森林浴をするには最適の日。
前日に雨も降ったこともあってか、いくつかの滝を見る事が出来た。


We walked around The Canyon Springbrook area, from Canyon Lookout to the forest.
Few places was little bit wet to walk, due to rain day before. It was fun to walk in the forest.
キャニオン　スプリングブルーク　エリアをキャニオン展望台から、森の中へ歩いて行く。
途中、前日に雨も降った事もあり所々地面が濡れていた。森歩きは楽しかった。

We also walked around National Bridge.
There is a cave which famous for grow warm and waterfall.
Unfortunately it was before the sunset, so we could not see grow warm. However it was nice to see the waterfall.
The sunlight was came through the hall of waterfall. It was beautifully hit on the waterfall.
ナショナル　ブリッジの散策。
そこは、洞窟があって、グローワームと滝で有名な所。
この日は、日没前という事もあって、グローワームは見る事が出来なかったけど、綺麗な滝は見る事が出来た。
滝が降り注ぐ穴から、日の光が入り、その光が滝に当たりちょっと神秘的だった。

Little adventure

Day trip with my friend.
友達とお出掛け。

It was gorgeous weather for day out.
Today we went to Scarborough to Redcliffe.
It took about 1 hour 45 minutes from city to Scarborough by train and bus.
At first we went popular little seafood market and takeaway shop in Scarborough. We bought prawns and fisherman's basket to share. We had lunch at Scarborough boat harbour.
After the lunch, our little adventure was started.
お出掛けするのにはとてもいい日だった。
今日はスカーボローからレッドクリフに向けての旅。
ブリスベン市街地からスカーボローまでは、バスと電車で約1時間45分。
まず最初は、有名な小さな魚売り場とお持ち帰りの食べ物の店が一緒になった所に行って来た。茹でて冷やしてあるえびとフィッシャーマンバスケット(白身魚、ホタテ、えび、イカリングのフライとフライドポテトのセット)と買った。マーケットの外はスカーボローの漁港で、ベンチとテーブルがあって、そこで分け合いながらお昼ごはんを食べた。
お昼ごはん食べてから、レッドクリフに向けての旅が始まった。

We saw a big tree on the way.
I liked the contract of the sky. So lovely.
途中で大きな木を見つけた。
木と空のコントラストが素敵… 

My friend found a bird.
Rainbow lorikeet. Very colourful, isn't it?
友達が鳥を見つけた。
レインボー・ロリキート(ゴシキセイガイインコ)。とてもカラフルでしょ?

 
After walked along the footpath, there were two ways. Keep continue to footpath which above the cliff or shore.
We were not sure we can walk along on the shore, but we just went to see we can walk or not. Luckily it was low tide, so we decided walk along the shore and it was good choice.
It was little adventure actually, because some broken cliffs and rocks on the way.
海岸沿いの歩道をしばらく歩くと分かれ道。崖の上を行く歩道と海岸を歩く道。
どっちに行くか迷いつつ、海岸をとりあえず見に行く事に。歩けるかなかるけないかな…
運が良く、この日は潮が引いていた。だからこのまま海岸を歩く事に。
小さなアドベンチャーの始まり。と言うのも、海岸には崖が崩れた物や岩がゴロゴロしていたから。

このサインが海岸にはいくつか立っていた。
満潮になると、海水は崖の所まで来るんだと思う。 


After we walked along the shore, finally we arrived Redcliffe jetty.
It was long walk. Probably 5km with thongs.
海岸沿いを歩いて、ようやくレッドクリフの桟橋に到着。
長い距離を歩いた。多分5km位かな。しかも草履をはいてでの…
 

End of the trip, just before we left Redcliffe.
Interesting monument. Rings are moving around.
旅の終わり。ちょうどレッドクリフを離れる時。

面白い物を見つけた。輪が動いていてなんか不思議だった。


It was lovely day.
We had nice food, saw lots of things, friend was swimming and I was meditating at the beach, took many photos.
とてもいい日になった。
美味しい物を食べて、色々見たり、友達は泳いでいる間私は海岸でメディテーションしたり、写真沢山撮ったりと…

Christmas lights...

Magical night...
魔法のような夜…

Few days before this night, my Korean friend who is working in Emirates contacted me.
It was surprise, because she said while ago she will not have work to Brisbane until next year. However the night she sent me email that she just got job to Brisbane. Luckily I had early shift at work.
この日の数日前に、韓国人のエミレーツで働いている友達からメールが届いた。
驚く事に、メールにはブリスベン行きの飛行機の仕事が突然入ったとの事。前までずっと来年まではブリスベンの仕事はないって言っていたから。運が良い事に友達が来る日は早番。

We had dinner at her friend's house then back to town to walk around a little bit. She did not have time, because she had to fly out next morning. I just took her city hall and Queens Street mall.
晩御飯を友達の友達の家で食べて、それから街中に戻ってきて少しだけ歩いた。友達は次の朝のフライトでブリスベンを離れるから、あまり時間がなかった。時間がない中、友達をシティーホールとクイーンズ・ストリート・モールに連れて行った。

There were so many lights that ready for Christmas.
It was so beautiful to see them with lovely friend who we had not met over five years.
クリスマスに向けて、沢山ライトアップや飾り付けが街中に広がっていた。
とても綺麗なライトアップと5年以上ぶりに会う友達…
 

I wish we had more time. Next time I hope I can meet her in her private time.
Nice lights up with lovely friend who had not met for long time...
I felt it was a magical night...
Thank you for the grateful time with my friend.
もっと時間があったら良かったけど。今度は友達がプライベートで来る時に会えると良いなぁ。
素敵なイルミネーションと久し振りに会う友達…
なんだか魔法にかかったような夜だった。
友達との大切な時間をありがとう。

New Year Eve and New Year

The end of the year and New year.

Finale of 2012 was really gorgeous night.
Many things were done in the end with friends.

Took photos of bridge.
Time past, changed scenery.
What a lovely... 

 
























Bar was served free finger meals.
Spring roll, calamari, prawns, prawn sushi, trout and raw oysters.
Most of them were seafood. I really enjoyed the meals. That what I missed in Australia and the end of the year I had these in free of charge.
Belly dance and fire show were great as well.
Moved to near the pub, but it was reserved by events, so we couldn't go in. After one drink, we moved to another pub. Last time of pub crawl the year.
Dancing at pub with friends were great.
Finale of the night was fireworks.
I took photos, but not great to put in here... sorry.
It was gorgeous. Red,blue, yellow. etc... Lovely coloured fires were in the sky. 
I really appreciated to my friend who was invited me.
I could done so many things in one night.
What a nice finale.
Especially living in overseas, since Christmas to New year is one of the most loneliness time if there is no family or relatives around...
I am so lucky to have such a lovely friends who can spend with...
Thank you my friends. Thank you God for giving me a gorgeous night...

Market day...

South Bank

 I got invitation from my Japanese friend who used to work in centre where I am working.

It was lovely weather to walk around. Before I went to the market, I was walking around the riverside. I had lunch near the GoMA.
Not many people were walking around the area, so I had really nice relaxing time.
