Travel around Hiroshima
広島周辺旅行
It was rainy in Tokyo and toward to Hiroshima, so we were not sure the weather in Hiroshima. Luckily it was cloudy when we arrived Hiroshima.
It took about 5 hours from Tokyo.
東京や広島までの町では雨が降っていて、広島の天気にも少し不安を抱きながら広島に向かった。広島は、曇っていたけど、雨は降っていなかった。
広島までは、 約5時間位掛かった。
Memorial park.
We walked around the park in the morning. We bought little bit of breakfast and had them at park. It was little bit early, so park was quiet.
Photo is memorial monument look through the Atomic Bomb Dome (Genbaku Dome).
広島記念公園。
朝少し早く起きて、朝ごはんを買って公園のベンチでゆっくり朝ごはん。朝も早かった事もあり、人もまばら。
写真は、原爆のモニュメントから望む、原爆ドーム。
Miyajima trip via boat which can bring cars...
The view from the boat was pretty. We saw oyster farms, view of Hiroshima and Miyajima.
宮島までは、車も運べる船で…
船からの景色はとても良かった。途中では牡蠣の養殖をする所が遠くに見えたり、広島・宮島の眺めが素敵だった。
We found a cute boat. May be scenery/guide boat??

There were many deers in Miyajima.
This one is still little. Like a Bambi. So cute.

宮島には沢山鹿がいた。
この鹿は、まだ小さいね。なんだかバンビ見たいで可愛かった。

Sori-bashi (arched bridge)/Chokushi-bashi (Imperial messengers' bridge) at Itsukushima shrine.
This bridge is National Important Cultural Property.
厳島神社の反橋、別名を勅使橋。
この橋は国重要文化財に指定されている。
Gojyu-no-tou (Five storied pagoda)
This pagoda is also National Important Cultural Property.
五重の塔
この塔も、国重要文化財に指定されている。

Bribie Island
ブライビー島
I lived Australia over 6 years this time, I had never been to island.
First time I went to island.
Bribie Island is located an hour away (driving) from Brisbane.
Little bit cold, but the weather was nice. Blue sky.
今回6年以上オーストラリアに住んでいた。でも、1度も島に行った事がなかった。
初めて島に遊びに行った。
ブライビー島は、ブリスベンから車で1時間位の所にある。
少し寒かったけど、天気も良く青空だった。
Some
people were fishing. I needed to careful to walk, because fishing lines
were toward to ocean and I could not see well if I walk and see the
ground or ocean...
何人かの人は魚釣りをしていた。気を付けて歩かないといけない。と言うのも、釣り糸は海の方に投げられているから...でも、海見ながら歩いているし、糸はクリアだから、じっくり見ないと気が付かない。
I wondered who was living... I guess crab??

Bike riding to the zoo.
自転車に乗って動物園へ。
There is a zoo (Lone Pine Sanctuary) near my house.
I bought a yearly pass long time ago. Now I can cycling and go for a walk in the zoo any time.
Lone Pine Sanctuary is located along the riverside, so nice to go for a walk in gorgeous weather. It is very relaxing place to go. There are so many Australian animals. If you like you can feed kangaroo and emu.
近所にローンパイン・サンクチュアリという動物園がある。
だいぶ前に年間パスを買ったから、いつでもサイクリング兼散歩に行ける。
ローンパイン・サンクチュアリは川沿いにあるから、天気のいい日にはお出掛けする最適な場所。
たくさんのオーストラリアの動物が見られる。カンガルーやエミューに餌付けもできる。

どこにいるか探していたら、草むらに隠れていたよ。

Joy was so cute. Later the joy was trying to go inside mum's pouch.
お母さんカンガルーがミルクをあげていたよ。
赤ちゃんカンガルーはかわいいね。この後、この赤ちゃんカンガルーは、お母さんのポケットに入ろうとしていたよ。

It was nice day to ride bicycle and went for a walk.
I love to go Lone Pine Sanctuary.
I can see lots of animal and pat some of the animals.

マーケットとブリスベン市植物園の散策…
I found on the internet that a market was moved from riverside to Brisbane botanic garden.
I just wanted to check how it the market looks like as well as relaxing at botanic garden.
インターネットでリバーサイドにあったマーケットがブリスベン市植物園に移動したことを見つけた。
マーケットがどのように変わったのかを見たかったのとゆっくりしたかったと言う事も兼ねて行ってきた。
The market itself was not changed much, but I saw one farmer had shop, so I was talking to him and bought nice tomato and free samples...
It was yummy free sample.
I decided to walking around the botanic garden.
マーケット自体はあまり変わっていなかった。でも、農家の人がお店を出しているのを見つけ、話をしていた。そして、ミニトマトを買ったら、おまけにももとスイカを試食させてくれた。
とてもおいしかった。
それからのんびり植物園を散策する事に...
Pretty flower was getting sunshine.
I really liked the contrast of shade surrounding and sunshine hit on flower.
かわいいお花が日の光を浴びていた。
結構お気に入りの1枚。お花以外は日陰になっていて、お花にだけ日の光が当たっていて、ちょっと神秘的だった。

I am in Brisbane, but I felt I was in Japan.

I was trying to take photo of this without people in it.

Every year, there is an event called 'Brisbane Open House'.
Most of the places are normally close to public, but only this event opens to public.
Actually this year I was not planning to go until I saw the website...
This is why I decided to go...
毎年”ブリスベン・オープンハウス”というイベントが行われる。
このイベントの時に限り普段は一般に公開していない所も、一般に公開される。
今年は行かないかなぁと思っていたけど、ウェブサイトを見て行く事に決めた。
なぜ決めたかというと...
In Roma Station, there is a old building.
Since I came to Australia, Brisbane I always wondered what it is and wanted to have a look inside...
This year, they opened to public.
Yes, that is the reason why I decided to go this event.
Finally I could see the inside and outside... I was so excited about it and I took so many photos.

ローマ駅には古い建物がプラットフォームにたたずんでいる。普段は誰も中に入る事や近くに行ってみる事は出来ない。
オーストラリアに来てから、ずっと不思議に思いつついつか中に入れたらなぁっと思っていた。
今年は、一般公開されることになった。そう、それをウェブサイトで見て行く事を決めた。
念願がかなって、やっとの事中や外観をゆっくり見る事が出来た。あまりのうれしさのあまり、写真を沢山撮った。

I walked long distance this day and it was almost end of the day and event...
Another place I really wanted to go was cathedral.
I really like sound of pipe organ and see stained glass there.
Unfortunately today they finished playing pipe organ, but I saw lovely stained glass.
I do not know how long I stayed, but when I came in the cathedral, it was still have light, so I can see the colour of building and wall. When I almost left, it got darker and sun light was came through the stained glass...
It was so lovely...
These are my favourite ones.
毎年の事ながら、どれだけの距離を歩いたのだろうか。気が付けば、イベントも終わり掛けの時間帯だった。
もう1つどうしても行きたい場所があった。それは、大聖堂。
大聖堂のパイプオルガンの音色、そして素敵なステンドグラス…とてもいい場所。
残念ながら、この日はパイプオルガンの演奏は終わっていた。でもその代わりとても良い物を見る事が出来た。
どの位の時間大聖堂にいたのだろうか。時間を忘れてしまうほどの静けさと神秘的な空間...
大聖堂に入った時は、まだ建物中の物や壁の色等良く見れたものだったけど、帰る頃には少し薄暗くなって、ステンドグラスから太陽の光が差し込んでいた...
とても素敵な時間...

I am not Christian, but I think I felt special power when I was in Cathedral.
I am grateful that I could have the time I had...
この日の終わり、何かを心身共に感じる事が出来た。
クリスチャンではないけど、この日大聖堂にいて特別なパワーを貰った気がする。
この時間が過ごせた事に感謝...
Lovely plants in out garden...
素敵な植物たち…
There are so many plants in our garden.
I am watering almost everyday as possible. when season turned to Spring, plants looks happy.
One day I was in the garden, I found some little lives were coming out from the plants...
I thought top of the plant has flower... but it was not. Actually new leaves are coming out from in the middle. I will update later if it grows more.
Middle one, it is just flower bud. I am not sure what kind of flower is bloom...
Bottom one, there are ten flowers like this in the garden. It seems attracted ants. There are few ants all the time.
お庭に沢山の植物が植わっていて、いつも時間がある時に欠かさず水をやっている。
春になって、水も十分に与えているからか植物も元気になってきた。
この間水やりをいつものようにやっていたら、花芽が付いているのに気が付いた。
一番上の写真は、花芽だと思っていたら、友達に聞いたら葉っぱだった。もう少し成長したらまた更新するね。
真ん中の写真は、花のつぼみ。どんな感じの花に成長するのか楽しみ…
一番下のは、花が咲いた状態。始めは緑の中に小さなオレンジと黄色の物が少し見えていた。この花はありが好きな花なのか、いつもありが歩いている。
It is grateful to see lives of plants.
They do not speak to us, but bring to us surprise as presents.
I am so happy to taking care of plants. Always give me lovely moment.
