トゥオンバ　フラワー　カーニバル

It was lovely weather to visit Toowoomba with my friend.
There was a carnival for flower.
Before visiting carnival I caught up my friend who lives Towoomba. It was just before I came back to Japan and we hadn't seen each other for long time, so it was nice to see.
After say good by with her, we went to the carnival. Few places had many gorgeous flowers.
今日は、天気も良く、友達とトゥオンバにお出掛け。
フラワーカーニバルが行われていた。
カーニバルの前に、 トゥオンバに住んでいる友達と久しぶりに再会。私が帰国前だった事もあり、なおさら会えてよかった。 
トゥオンバの友達と別れてからカーニバルへ。カーニバルはあちらこちらで行われ、沢山の綺麗な花が咲いていた。

Brisbane Open House

Open the keys for Brisbane secret...
ブリスベンの秘密の解き明かそう...

Every year, there is an event called 'Brisbane Open House'.
Most of the places are normally close to public, but only this event opens to public.
Actually this year I was not planning to go until I saw the website...
This is why I decided to go...
毎年”ブリスベン・オープンハウス”というイベントが行われる。
このイベントの時に限り普段は一般に公開していない所も、一般に公開される。
今年は行かないかなぁと思っていたけど、ウェブサイトを見て行く事に決めた。
なぜ決めたかというと...


In Roma Station, there is a old building.
Since I came to Australia, Brisbane I always wondered what it is and wanted to have a look inside...
This year, they opened to public.
Yes, that is the reason why I decided to go this event.
Finally I could see the inside and outside... I was so excited about it and I took so many photos.
These are few from my collection.
 ローマ駅には古い建物がプラットフォームにたたずんでいる。普段は誰も中に入る事や近くに行ってみる事は出来ない。
オーストラリアに来てから、ずっと不思議に思いつついつか中に入れたらなぁっと思っていた。
今年は、一般公開されることになった。そう、それをウェブサイトで見て行く事を決めた。
念願がかなって、やっとの事中や外観をゆっくり見る事が出来た。あまりのうれしさのあまり、写真を沢山撮った。
これらは、その中からの写真。 

I walked long distance this day and it was almost end of the day and event...
Another place I really wanted to go was cathedral.
I really like sound of pipe organ and see stained glass there.
Unfortunately today they finished playing pipe organ, but I saw lovely stained glass.
I do not know how long I stayed, but when I came in the cathedral, it was still have light, so I can see the colour of building and wall. When I almost left, it got darker and sun light was came through the stained glass...
It was so lovely...
These are my favourite ones.
毎年の事ながら、どれだけの距離を歩いたのだろうか。気が付けば、イベントも終わり掛けの時間帯だった。
もう1つどうしても行きたい場所があった。それは、大聖堂。
大聖堂のパイプオルガンの音色、そして素敵なステンドグラス…とてもいい場所。
残念ながら、この日はパイプオルガンの演奏は終わっていた。でもその代わりとても良い物を見る事が出来た。
どの位の時間大聖堂にいたのだろうか。時間を忘れてしまうほどの静けさと神秘的な空間...
大聖堂に入った時は、まだ建物中の物や壁の色等良く見れたものだったけど、帰る頃には少し薄暗くなって、ステンドグラスから太陽の光が差し込んでいた...
とても素敵な時間...

The end of the day, I felt something in my body and mind...
I am not Christian, but I think I felt special power when I was in Cathedral.
I am grateful that I could have the time I had...
この日の終わり、何かを心身共に感じる事が出来た。
クリスチャンではないけど、この日大聖堂にいて特別なパワーを貰った気がする。
この時間が過ごせた事に感謝... 

Walking day.

Great day for walking.
歩くには良い日だね。


I needed to go Brisbane convention centre, but before that I decided to walk along the river, because the weather made me walk.
I started from South Bank bus station, walk through the market, then walked along the river. My plan had changed. I walked to West End market via riverside, through the market and little rest at the park for having a lunch and finally arrived at Brisbane convention centre.

この日はブリスベンのコンベンションセンターに用事があったけど、その前に川沿いを歩く事に。
サウスバンクのバスステーションからマーケットを通って、 川沿いを歩いた。その間に計画を変更。最初の予定ではその足でコンベンションセンターにと思っていたけど、あまりにも天気が良く歩くには最適な日だったので、そのまま川沿いを歩いてウエストエンドへ。ウエストエンドではファーマーズマーケットがやっていて、そこを通りぬけて公園を見つけたので休憩を兼ねてお昼ごはん。食べた後は、コンベンションセンターへ…

アボリジニ風の生き物の絵も見られた。



It was lovely day to walk out.
I had never walked this way, so found things.
I hope find something new next walking too.

今日は歩くにはとてもいい日だった。
いつもと違う道を歩いてみるのも色々な発見があって良いね。
今度のウォーキングも新しい発見があると良いなぁ。

After the bad weather. 悪天候の後。

It was really bad weather few days ago... Lots of places were flooding and blackout.
One day it was really nice weather, so I went out for a market. After that I decided to went down to city and walked along the river.
何日か前までとても天気が悪くて、一部の地域では大洪水になったり、停電が何日間も続いた。
天気も回復して、とある日は青空で外に出るには最高の日だった。なので、マーケットに行こうと決めた。マーケットに行ってから、ふと街に出て川沿いをのんびり歩こうと思い立った。

There was not many debris on the river. However they were still working on the river. I saw a ship which was many debris on.
Water level was still higher than normal day. Around the river, it was almost recovered from the terrible weather few days ago.
川は思っていたほど瓦礫や流木は流れていなかった。でも、まだ川の上では、瓦礫や流木を船に乗せて仕事をしている人達がいた。
川の水量は普段より少し多かった。川の周りも荒れた天候から殆どが回復していた。

It was a very nice weather for photography.
I walked around lots of places.

First I went to Stones Corner.

This was near the busway station. It was huge graffiti art.

Walked along the street...

I was heard there are lots of shops and some are cheap or outlet. However there were not many shops... Most of them were closed down. It was really quiet.
I found statue of dog...

After I went to Roma Street Parkland.
It was lovely weather, so I decided to have little picnic at botanical garden.

I found quite big creature there...

It was a gorgeous day for photography.
I decided to go somewhere and I was reading magazine and I caught my eyes on the article.
The place was about Teneriffe area.

New Farm Engine Room and Wool store
Engine room is now heritage listed.
This area was related with US navy when it was WWII.


It was really hot, but lovely weather, so walked to New Farm Park.
The park was lots of flowers.

I took lot of photos there. However I will not update Power house, because I updated long time ago. If it was the evening with orange coloured, might put it. May be next time...

Wide and gorgeous sky... Nice breeze was made me forgot the time...

There are many of this tree around the riverside and at the park. It was really beautiful.

It was windy,but really nice weather.
There were so many people...even weekday.
I took so many photos(about 80).
The sky was so clear,cherry blossoms were brilliant and animals were so cute.
It was a really nice day!!
